Ran the Fastes lap on Top Gear Test track

 

i love the look of the apollo, but i hate those cheesy taillights that look like they came from a ricer magazine.

great car though

 

I don't like the design, too spectacular for me. But we have to recognize it is a great car!

 

Yes that car is amazing its a true street legal race car

 

Have you guys seen the seats? Theyre built into the firewall.

Sorry guys but Gumpert Apollo is not a Italian car. It is German.

 

That was my fault I just didnt have anywhere else to post it since we dont have a German supercar thread which we should.

 

just change the section to european instead of italian

 

One of the distributors is right down the street from me and I just had a chance to check it out in person.. Impressive performance figures to say the least, I just think the exterior is overdone and the proportions are out of line.

 

I'm waiting for Gumpert to try and drive it upside down, they claim that the aerodynamics are so good that it would be able to.

 

Wow that car is fast.

 

Ground clearance on this car is short of ridiculous (3cm I believe). Its a sensational car but I question the 'street legal' sales pitch

 

It might have a great performance...but i'm not a fan of the Apollo design... for me it looks very unfinished to me!

But the performance no one can't take it from it! It's AMAZING

 

I never really cared for the Apollo that much, but after seeing it in person at the Geneva Auto Show I actually kind of like it now.
