Anybody else do this everyday?

I figure i can't be alone in this ritual ,i just can't let my tt leave the garage with any dirt on it, every single little smashed bug has to be cleaned off which it seems to attract many, i dust bust the whole car then detail with a a quik detail spray the one i love right now is the Megquires new one has some kinda polymer in it & works great i also do the all the glass with it ,wipe the wheels down including calipers & use this black magic tire cleaner that has a matte finish i really hate the glossy tire look this stuff gives it a new tire kinda look.I do this everyday if i drive it everyday which i usually don't but i actually love massaging all the beautiful curves of this thing.

I do use a quick detail spray, but if the car has been driven, I usually give it a quick pressure wash with DI water. I really dislike using detail sprays or dusters unless the car is washed because my black paint will develop swirls very quickly.

I typically use a pretty elaborate washing system...softened water runs through a DI resin chamber, then into a pressure washer. Quick foam cam spray, then pressure rinse off...walk away. Better than dusting.

But then again, I'm pretty geeky and have OCD for swirls, too.

Uhm, I can't say that I'm that "detail" oriented on my 997TT--I was with my 993, but the 997TT is a DD.

Look away.......

W211 is infamous around these parts
On my silver car I now have a slight fine film of road dust, debating if I should detail spray or just wash it. Good thing with silver is that it completely masks swirl marks.

I'm totally with you on this. I hadn't tried the new Megquires product. I used their quick detailer and final inspection but it's been years. I used zaino z6 and z8 sometimes but they are not really a quik detail but more a after washspray/after sealant spray. I have been using a product from Eagle one that's been working really well. Great gloss, no streaks, nice slick feel and cheap.
I should wash my car more often the just wiping it down but I hate dealing with the whole rusted rotor and clean wheel problems..
