Noob Intake Manifold Question

Been looking for some pics of a 997 Turbo/GT2 complete motor out of the car.

Found some but my question is:

How much space is there between the intake manifold and the block and between each set of runners?

Is that space filled up with more components or is it fairly void?

Thanks

On the 997TT, under the manifold is pretty well packed. There is a coolant pump on the left/drivers side, a whole mess of coolant tubes, wires, vacuum lines, and fuel lines. Directly under the manifold sits an water/oil oil cooler that eats up a ton of room.

Porsche fits a whole lotta stuff in that little engine compartment!
