The search in finally over, exhaust & 997TT cab & .

The exhaust was one of the biggest problems I had with my 08 cab. I had some bad experience with a Fabspeed quiet on my 996TT coupe. -The drone was horrible, I hated it till I sold the car and bought my Cab. So there was the question what kind of sport exhaust?? The stock does sound like a Honda and worst, eats up some power which has to be unleashed. BUT I wanted everything but nothing that droning like the one I had on my 996 and nothing that is just loud and obnoxious for the neighbors. I tried the FVD sound system. When I first started after the install I was shocked! That was too loud I thought, but after warming up the sound is incredible. It is never just noise it is sound! Exactly what is needed never obnoxious loud and NO drone at all. And there is the power again, you can feel that the engine is now breathing.

So this system is perfect for the cab even if you hate to much noise. It is almost like in old air cooled times, You can use your cell always, but if you need you can cough at the one you tried to pass for 10 minutes because he is texting while going 30 on a 45 road.

One more thing that exhaust is a true 4 tip, we are not driving fake sport cars, so there is no reason to use these embarrassing fake 4 tips. On the FVD system you have four real outlets, not to mansion the fantastic solid building quality.

Just wanted to share my experience, because there is always the question what exhaust is right for me, THAT QUESTION IS ANSWERED!

I've also had a negative experience with Fabspeed. The interior of my exhaust basically disintegrated and a week has gone by with no response from the queries to the FIVE people at Fabspeed I've tried to contact. I did like the exhaust the 10,000 miles or so it worked.
