Todays forcast: DRIFT
Todays forcast: DRIFT
I used to be big into drifting back in 05-06... (CTSV)
I went out to my spot today in my C6Z for the first time.
1st Suspension Test: Max compression 16 clicks
2nd. Session: Front on 14, rear on 7
3rd. Session: Front 10 Clicks, Rear 5. IDEAL for wet drifting at least.
First off, when you adjust compression, you must consider and adjust rebound as well.
I didn't have time to mess with rebound but the car reacts crazy with the compression adjustments.
The car wanted to do lots of donuts because of improper throttle control and lack of speed. aka 1st gear.
BUT, when you are in 2nd and 3rd, the tires are spinning around 80-100MPH. It is way easier to balance. As you can tell at the end of my video.
15mins = 3 gallons of gas, 3 adjustments, 250 coolant temp....

The car has slicks on it (bald NT-05s), its harder to balance in wet conditions with the current set up.
I need to find a happy medium with the suspension for Drift.
