Marble Falls drive: Saturday 4-17-10

Its been a while but time for another drive

DFW to Marble Falls scenic drive.

Meet point: Northwest corner of 820 and Rufe Snow Dr. in the Don Pablo's parking lot. 5121 Rufe Snow Dr, North Richland Hills, TX

Time: meet 7:15am, depart 7:30 sharp

Return to DFW: 5-6pm

Lunch: Will be in Marble Falls at a resturant overlooking the Colorado river.

If you're free next weekend, join us for an adventure to Hill Country. I have done this loop several times and it never gets old. a good mix of different kinds of roads and lots of pretty scenery. bring your wife or friend if you like. a 2-way radio is not a must but very helpful as well. i will have an extra 1 with me if someone needs it.

the start time seems a bit early but its nessessary if we want to get back at a decent hour. no worries though, we'll stop for coffee about an hour into the drive. post here or pm me if you would like to attend.

if you cant make it, look for pics after the drive.

YeeHaa let's wake up some smokies out there! Well perhaps not since family riding with me on this one. Scenery should be beautiful considering the spring time. To those who've never been down there you'd be amazed at the nice tall hills and the roads cutting in between them. My passengers have stated, "are we still in Texas"? Can't wait for this lets hope No rain so we can head out next Saturday. Two way radios definitely come in handy and also bring along your video or digital cameras. Lots of photo ops in that area.

If I considered this, would you come close to 35 on South of Fort Worth? Or do you head towards Weatherford and then south. PM me if you are concerned about posting.

As others have said despite the weather still had lots of fun. FYI these stupid cars are like affairs with other women. They keep you away from family time too many events lined up next few weekends all in a row. Dont get me wrong I love every minute of it but the family starting to feel neglected. Now I know why a certain TT's name is called The Mistress
