If traveling over fairly uneven surfaces causing body flex I get a groan that sounds like it is coming from the center of the cars undersurface. Anyone else had this? I hope a weld didn't let go.

When you sit in the car with the seatbelt on just wiggle the seatbelt receptacle so that the post rubs on the leather seat and see if that's the same noise you're hearing. If not, then good luck!

There was a recall on some early '07 builds, something about faulty rear body welds. The dealer can ck your VIN.

I do the same and just noticed the same thing.

I recall that there was a VIN range listed for affected cars (the weld problem) and I don't think mine was in it.
