TechArt 997.2TT: 0-62 in 2.9 Sec. 0-124 in 9.3 Sec. Vmax= 207mph!

TechArt announced their new upgrade kit for the 2010 997.2TT:

By a simple standard ECU+Air Filter+Exhaust+Manifold they are getting 620HP and 605 lb-ft Torque and the performance figures in the title!

with PDK:

Performance Level 1 Kit
0 - 100 km/h = 3.4 s Normal / 3.2 s Sport
0 - 200 km/h = 10.7 s Normal / 10.4 s Sport
Top speed = 324 km/h (6th gear)
Power density = 147.5 HP per ltr.


Performance Level 2 Kit
0 - 100 km/h = 3.1 s Normal / 2.9 s Sport
0 - 200 km/h = 9.6 s Normal / 9.3 s Sport
Top speed = 333 km/h (7th gear)
Power density = 161 HP per ltr.

Techart is Great Company with good products...The good news for us (U.S.)
is that we have companies like EVOMS that are building as good or better stuff
as the Germans (finally) for LESS MONEY ! I really, really liked the Evoms PDK turbo
that I drove last week (see EVOMS thread) that will obvioiusly outperform this car.

Although TA did not provide a graph, their quoted 0-200 km/h time is exceptional.

Marty, as much as I admire EVOMs, the TechArt car is nearly a second faster to 124mph (200km/h). This is EVOMs data from the Mile.
