Hoosiers

I have just purchased a 996TT that I plan on tracking. What pressures (hot) are guys running with Hoosiers on similar cars? Thanks for any input.

I drive a 997TT and I start with cold pressure of 28 front 30 rear and hot gets to about 38 front and 40 rear. This seems to be best for me from a performance and longevity standpoint. You will love the Hoosiers but man are they an expensive habit!

I just tracked a 996TT at VIR. I ran my R6s at 24 rear and 26 front. After adjusting the start pressures to this level, I achieved 40 PSI at the end of each run. That is the pressure where R6s are happiest. Hope this helps. Also, dont run R6s unless you have some negative camber. The R6s need about 3 degrees of negative which is what I run and they were wearing and heating up consistently across the tire surfaces.
