My neighbor is looking for a 2007 S55....what can he expect price wise??? Thanks

 

The S55 was only a model in the MB/AMG stable until 2006 when they made the switch over to the S63 models with the 6.2 NA V8, rather than the 5.4 s/c V8 in the W220 S Class. I've seen the W220 S55 + S65s go for some seriously low prices but usually with a pretty decent amount of mileage. They are significantly lower priced than the W221 model S63s and rightfully so. If he's stuck on a W220 model S55 make sure you get one from '03-06, they have a huge bump in power over the previous S55s. The S63s I believe retained the same 6.2 V8 all the way through since they were introduced up until the model that just came out with the TT 5.5 V8.
