Does anyone have any personal experience w the few ECU upgrades avail for the 2008 GT2?? The sharkwerks is substantially more expensive than the vivid racing? Are they easy to install? Can they be done effectively without performing any other mods? Seriously, the gt2 is super fast, but I have had the car for 4 years and just want a change. Thanks in advance.

 

You can have a tune installed very easily. I installed mine myself after receiving it from Switzer. It makes a difference. I installed mine on the dyno after a baseline run and gained 32whp. Only upgrade you'll probably need to do is an upgraded clutch as the stock clutch can't handle any additional HPs. Mine started slipping the same day I installed the tune.

As for what is the best tune, there are many options and many opinions if you search this forum.
