Hi,

I am hoping someone might know what the differences are between the 2009 and the 2011 AMG SL65? From what I have read there are not a lot of differences.

The reason I am asking is because I have been looking for a repair/shop manual for my 2011 and have be told that I would need to scribe to Startech web site to get any information. That would require me to subscribe each time I needed information or had a question; or the other option would be for me to subscribe for a longer period of time which isn't exactly cheap, especially when I didn't need it.

Anyway I was able to find a repair manual (on CD) that covers the 2009; and I purchased it - and was just wondering where I would need to fill in any gapes between the different years.

My first task, which should be covered by the 09 manual is to change the low beam headlight, since they are both the same body style - I am hoping (fingers crossed) that it will be the same procedure.

Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide regarding the differences between the years.

P.S. I am changing the low beam bulbs because the previous owner put in blue bulbs and I just can't see well at night with the blue bulbs. I have been told that they are some where around 8000 range, they are very blue. Again thanks. D
