Catalytic converters and OBDII readiness when tuned?

Hi,

I'm looking at getting a new exhaust for my turbo, and a tune, my question is if I go catless will I still pass a OBDII readiness "readout" during inspection?

Or will I have to switch exhaust to pass the OBDII emissions check every year?

(the inspection in Sweden dont use a "sniffer" anymore, they just plug in to the OBDII port and check readiness)

Any insight is appreciated especially from tuners

For my N54 BMW I had catted downpipes and always regretted not getting more free flowing ones (it also had a secondary set of catalytic converters so it would pass inspections anyways).

Hello,

It can be adjusted in the software, so you won't have "readiness" fault.

Regards,
Emre
