I wonder if you guys can give me some advice on how to deal with this.

I recently redid my brakes. I went with Girodisc slotted rotors and EBC Redstuff pads. All in all, I was very happy with the quality of the components. The rotors in particular look great and they're so much lighter.

The pads have a pretty good cold bite (much better than the Hawk HPS I had before) and they produce very little (almost no) dust. They seem ideal for the street.

The problem is that they squeal like crazy. This is not the usual noise made due to vibration. I used the padding and anti-squeal paste that came with the pads. The noise is more high pitch and seems to come from the friction between the pads and the rotors, it's like nails on glass. The EBC pads do come with the warning that they'll make some noise for a while, but it's been a few weeks now and I'm truly embarrassed to drive around like this.

Another thing that's weird is that they do not make any noise when cold, only when they warm up a bit. If I heat them up by riding the brakes a bit, the noise goes away for a while, but then comes back.

I had a bit of a hard time doing the bedding, since the instructions for the rotors and the pads were contradicting each other. I ended up following the one for the rotors (several hard near-stops)

I'm about to give up on the EBC Redstuff and go back to OEM pads and deal with the dust.
