I live in Acworth GA and just purchased my first porsche. I plan on doing most maintenance items myself (brakes, oil, fluids). However, if something does come up that I cannot tackle, what shops are around on my side of town (75 or 575)?

 

Do you live in atlanta? Getting from acworth over to Alpharetta could take me a full day with traffic. There has to be some shop in the acworth/ kennesaw/ woodstock area.

 

Goldcrest motorsports in kennesaw? Haven't heard much about them in a while so don't know if they're still around

 

I hear TopSpeed is getting back into the Porsche business. They are considered one of the best in the GT-R world and everything I've had done there personally over the years has been flawlessly executed. I believe they have a few big 997 Alpha 9 and 10 builds going on over there, so basic maintenance things like clutches would be a breeze.

It certainly isn't on your side of town, but not a bad trip up 575 to GA20 to Cumming. I have tried several shops, and none compare to Motor Werks Racing. The shop may be somewhat inconvenient, but certainly worth the effort. No affiliation, but I am a very satisfied customer.

 

Goldcrest is very much still around, I would recommend them especially based on where you're located.

 

Appreciate all the replies so far. Still hoping I will never have to use one of these places, but its nice to have found a few semi-close to me.
