The 2015 Mustang has grown on me.
When I first learned of the new gen of Mustang, from seeing a magazine in a bookstore, I looked through it and thought the car looked great but not really amazing or something that stands out right away.
However, seeing different shots of the car in silver and watching videos of the reveal in red, I can say this car is one I am looking forward to seeing in person.
A great thing is the fact this car will still be somewhat affordable, what with Ford raising the base price.
The last car that amazed me at first glance was the revised Porsche Cayman. The Mustang left less of an impression but I have grown to like it.
The interior is REALLY awesome and one of the best of any car I have seen. The toggle switches are really old school and a nice throwback to older cars--yes, I know it's based off of fighter jets.
As for the engine, I think I would get the V8 only for the sound of the engine roaring.
I know MANY folks in other boards really bash this new Mustang for resembling a Ford Fusion (front) and the Honda Accord (side view). Viewing both side by side, the Stang's window is more narrow and looks more elongated than an Accord's side windows. Not to mention the Accord really looks "flat" from the side, whereas the Ford has a very wide rear end with nice rear fenders and large hips.
I gotta say, this 2015 model looks better than the last few gens of Mustang. The lower height, and longer profile help lend the car an exotic appearance, and menacing stance.
