Fabspeed exhaust bypass pipes

Hello all.. Wondering if anyone has any thoughts or owns the fabspeed muffler bypass pipes. I currently have the Europipe stage 2 and love it.. but with the added upgrades to the car something a tad bit on the louder side might be nice.. I live in WI. So if anyone in the area or in Chicago has it I would love to hear what it sounds like. The car is a 2007 turbo. The link to the exhaust in question is below.. thanks much! - TJ

I love a loud exhaust (have GMG currently), but straight pipes were too much. It felt as if the car was going to shake apart from 2000-3500 rpm. It is great for WOT above 4000 though, but under that and it sounded like a really fast tractor.

I have both the fabspeed x-pipe and muffler bypass pipes for my car. I put the bypass pipes on when I want a more aggressive sound at the track. The bypass pipes are definitely louder, but I prefer the sound of the x-pipe. The bypass pipes allow you to hear a much more mechanical sound from the engine. There is a drone around 2200-2400 rpm but it greatly improved when I put my stock tips on the the car. With the bypass pipes the car sounds a bit like an old volkswagon beatle, not because of the pipes but because the pipes allow you to hear exactly what the engine is doing. The x-pipe sounds MUCH better in my opinion and combines the sounds from both sides of the engine for a much more unison, consistent sound. I see no difference in power between the two so it's more a subjective matter of taste.

If you decide you want to try out the bypass pipes let me know. I have a set I bought to try out but never did. GREAT price for you to try it without spending anywhere near $2700
