Tech Art lowering springs for 997.2

Friend has Tech Art lowering springs off his 997.1 TT and offered to give them to me to use on my 997.2 TT. Will they work? Are the springs the same for each car?

I wanted the GMG springs but hard to pass up FREE springs...

Thoughts?

Sounds like a great opportunity. GMG springs are about $700, so you save that cost which will cover the install and alignment.

I have H&R on mine. I hear Techart's are basically rebranded Eibach Pro Kit. They are very conservative in terms of lowering the car. If they are free, you might as well throw em on. This car sits up way too high, lowering springs make the car look 10000 times better

I'm more concerned with handling and not so much the lowering. Sounds like the GMG might be the way to go for me.
