07 Turbo -- 40k mile maintenance / upgrade list

Hi All,

I recently picked up my (new to me) 2007 Porsche 997.1 Turbo and I'm completely going through the car to make sure it's absolutely perfect.

Anything I should replace/upgrade while I'm going through it? I'm extremely meticulous about my cars, so while I'm in here rootin around I want to make sure I cover everything so I don't have to do anything for a while.

The car has 40,000 miles. Does this list look complete?

Thanks in advance!

Joe T.

Due for replacement
- Oil Filter, o-ring, and crush washers
- Wiper Blade Set (not shown)
- Summer Windshield Wiper Fluid (not shown)
- Charcoal Pollen Filter
- Engine Air Filter

- Engine Drive Belt

Recommended inspection:
- Diagnostic system - read out any faults in memory (Porsche Dealer)

- Inspect coolant level and antifreeze
- Inspect radiators for blockage or external debris
- Inspect brake hoses and lines
- Inspect all drive shaft boots for leaks or wear
- Inspect tire condition and air pressure
- Check front firewall drains (rear drains on cabrios)
- Check the door, lid locks, and hood latches for proper function
- Check vehicle lighting and headlight functionality
- Check horn function
- Check windshield & headlight washer system & nozzles.
- Check battery condition and electrolyte level
- Check function of electrical equipment, including warning and turn signal lights
- Visual inspection of pads & rotors for signs of wear

Maybe do the ignition coils while you're in there.

+1, I would definitely replace the coils while doing the plugs.
Also I would check the FPR line as well https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-fpr-line.html
Inspect the diverter valves
Maybe do a boost leak test for good measure

I plan to do the same thing in a few weeks..already have done the air filters and still need to do the plugs and coils and belt.

I've been collecting the tools I need for the spark plug job.

Your list looks pretty complete.

I need to look for a write up on doing boost leak checks..
