Hi Guys,

on the driverside front wheel, there is about a 3/4 diameter hole. I can't see what is on the other side execpt that i know it is somewhere in the frunk. It would make sense that a grommet should go there but then again maybe it supposed to be like that.

Wondering if anyone would be kind enough to peek through their wheel spokes to see if there is a plug of some sort.

I've attached a photo. I don't have a photo editing software, but you can see it right about the brake rotor and just left of the strut.

Thanks

Mine has a hole in both sides, no grommets/plugs. Passenger side has more space behind it.

Thanks boys. I am heading to the dealer tomorrow to see if they can pull up a diagram to confirm it there is one required. I'll update you tomorrow. My initial concern was potential water seepage. But as a rat crawled into my M3 last year and chewed up a huge repair bill my worry was a potential entry point for little critters.

There's another wall behind this. It's not the outside layer of the frunk from what I could see.

Hey guys. Went to the P dealer today. The parts manager showed me the diagram(attached) and there is no grommet to be placed in that hole. We also looked at the 997 in the shop. The same was found on that car as well.

Sorry for the false alarm.
