I just got back from a boring 350 mile interstate road trip and felt my 2012 TT-S engine surge when the cruise control was set. The speed or tach didn't vary, it was just a surge feel like the system was about to disengage. I generally had it set at 75mph and the surge was more noticeable when going uphill. Anyone else had such an issue? I have a service due in a few weeks and will have it checked out then.
