Interior door handle spring broke ?

Hi fellas.
After a drive today, I pulled my driver side interior door handle to get out and heard a weird noise like some spring broke and the handle is now loose. Door still opens by pulling on it but clearly the mechanism is not working right. Anybody experienced this and if so is there a link for a fix or is it dealer time ?

Thanks in advance!

Typical problem. I had the same problem but fixed with a couple zip ties. Your spring probably did not snap, it's a plastic tab that broke. This apparently is a poor design by Porsche, this tab is so flimsy holding on to its dear life everytime you open you door. Anyways, all it takes its a few screws to take out the panel, once you have the panel out, you will see the mechanism that operates the locking system, it should be pretty clear where the spring sits, and that there should be a plastic tab to keep it in place. You can easily replace the tab with some zip tie to hold the end of the spring in place. Works like a champ

Heres a link for the panel removal. Step #10 shows the mechanism and the spring and you will probably see the broken plastic tab there. Good luck
