Fidelity Warranty
Fidelity Warranty
Anyone have experience with Fidelity aftermarket warranty? I recently bought one for my 2014 RS7 and just wondering how good/bad experiences are.
Also, related question, how would Fidelity handle a GIAC flash? Thinking about getting one but didn’t want to void warranty. Would they pull up ECU history (request from mechanic or send an inspector etc) and flag car as no warranty (hard assess) or a softer approach? Just curious if anyone has experience here.
Thanks!

Fidelity is a good one but none are perfect. Extended warranties use the same exclusions as an oem warranty....if the car is modified (ie, tuned) they can deny a related repair. If they deny it is really tough to get that reversed.

They offer 3 different levels i believe. It may void depending if failure is caused by mod. Depending on mod you can reverse settings with some to factory. Not sure if scan can still detect...Do you know if previous owner(s) updated oil strainer/turbos? if you dont have to modify due to warranty i would consider avoiding as very expensive and big headache to repair/replace parts. car is plenty fast. Once warranty period is over may be a good time to consider. Friend bought an S8 and was going to purchase warranty but turbo dies before and had to spend $4.4K plus to cover from pocket. That was just 1 side.
