We own a 2008 Cayenne automatic with about 80k miles. The acceleration over the past few years has become horrible in normal mode. The car is basically only usable in sport mode, which more or less solves the problem. But in normal mode, you have to floor it to get the car to go 60 mph.

Is this the transfer case issues I hear so much about? The car isn't jerking or anything like that, it's just incredibly slow.
