Manual Vantage 4.7 clutch video

I have been meaning to post this informative and well produced video showing the OEM to twin plate clutch replacement process. Just an excellent walk through, and even more impressive (to my eyes) as the young man is not an Aston specialist.

That video was a manual - a Sportshift would also require ASM software.

I have watched this video multiple times. Very informative and a different way to remove the gear box.

That is a great video. Wish he was in CA, he would get my business. Made me smile with he stalled the car, I have done this turning into my driveway.

That was really good. I was initially put off by the length thinking it would be drawn out, I.e. classic YouTube, but in reality it was just none stop action. What a massive job.

Definitely not for the faint of heart, but love when our customers/shops showcase how nice our aftermarket clutch solutions are. Thank you for sharing!

Have you sort out the chatter issue on your latest clutch kits?

Approximately 20% of vehicles may experience a “transaxle rattle” when in neutral at idle with the clutch disengaged. This condition is dependent on wear and internal tolerances within the transaxle. To help mitigate this, we recommend replacing the transaxle fluid with AMSOIL 75W-110 and adding the AMSOIL Slip-Lock additive. If you have VAP ECU tuning, we can also adjust idle RPM and timing to further reduce the occurrence of this condition.

Got it. So if the car has low miles, chances are there's not much wear in a gearbox so less likely to have rattle. I do have velocity tune that makes it easier.
Thanks 🙏

With a stock clutch, would you recommend going with Amsoil 75W-110 & slip lock additive over the Redline MT-LV 70W/75W?

What is the stock clutch has to do with transaxle gear oil? Castrol BOT 270A or RED LINE MT-LV 70W/75W GL-4, Amsoil has no gear oil specific for that application
