Scottsdale Cars and Coffee Sept 7th
Scottsdale Cars and Coffee Sept 7th
It looks like the Scottsdale Cars Coffee will be starting up again after a summer vacation. September 7th (First Sat of every month). It is coming back with a "slight" twist. A $10 fee will now be charged to display your car. Here is a statement I picked up:
The Scottsdale Motorsports Gathering returns on September 7th.
In conjunction with the newly announced membership program, $137 annual, Membership is not guaranteed and is subject to approval, Scuderia Southwest is announcing the return of the Scottsdale Motorsports Gathering.
The new event is transitioning to a members only event for car entry, but is still free and open to spectators.
The event will be restricted to exotics, rare high performance, and collector cars.
Entry for members with a qualifying car is included in their annual membership. As space permits, non-members with a qualifying car will be allowed with pre-registration and a $10 entry fee. Registration info will be posted and cash will not be accepted at the entrance.

This next Saturday Scottsdale CC is scheduled to be back after a long break. I will attend as an observer. I didn't pay to put my Continental GT in this month, then they might not accept it anyway.
It is going to be a greatly reduced car display, but I think that is what the club members were looking for. The last big show in the spring was close to 1000 cars. I can imagine what a management nightmare that must have been.

I brought our group (phxdriven) to the Scottsdale Motorsports Gathering (SMG) yesterday and it was great time. Great quality of cars! Will definitely go again next month.
The membership has a lot of perks, including the registration for concours in the hills.
Yes, I was there and a larger crowd than I first thought it would be. I'll go again. Probably just observing. Snowbirds are starting back and that will surely add to the cars on display.
