AM '06 DB9 coupe brakes

I own a '06 DB9 coupe and the brakes work very well the only problem is brake dust, I can wash wheels and 20 miles later they are all dusty again, I have heard of ceramic brake pads that are virtually dust free and work as well, anybody know anything about this, thanks SM

I absolutely Love it, it certainly turns heads because people do not know what it is, as far as reliabilty no problems as of yet just the excesive brake dust issue which I ordered Hawk Ceramic brake pads that I hope will solve, and it is a 6 speed automatic with paddle F1 shifters behind the steering wheel, here is an article I found that really sums it up,

If you’re still not convinced the DB9 is the best looking Grand Tourer on the planet today, all you have to do is park it in a busy street filled with trendy cafes and wait for the comments. Instead of the regular “Oh my, that looks nice & expensive… he must be having a midlife crisis” comments that you get with a Ferrari & Lambo, with a DB9 expect the “Sorry to interrupt sir, but I just wanted to tell you that I absolutely adore your car…” comments instead.
As if performance, handling, a remarkable interior and the sound of a V12 wasn’t enough, rest assured, the DB9’s mesmerising looks will win over not only the ladies but the respect of all car lovers and art critiques as well.

thanks for the link

Shooter, my current order is a fairly plain Titanium/Obsidian with all the options.

I am considering waiting for an 09 or getting the 08 N400 special edition. These cars have so many changes and updates from year to year, unlike porsche, which does it ever 3-4 years.

There are rumours that there will be some suspension.engine updates on the plain model, even better than the N400.

Aston really listens to owner feedback.
