anybody doing stonegaurd on their am

any feedback on the current stonegaurd applications. Park Place in Seattle will do a (non3M) application of the front air dam, 1/2 hood, etc for around $2000. There is a lifetime warranty of the product.

I had mine installed by the individual person/company that does it for the dealers - saved a lot of money - he came to my house. I am very happy w/ the product - no sh*t had a rock hit my hood 2 days later - slightly scratched the material but no damage to my paint at all. I would hate to see what would have happened to my paint w/o the product.

I had this put on my car at the dealer before I drove it away. I would strongly recommend you get the entire hood covered (apparently material large enough is available now).

thanks for replies, much appreciated. I just put my money down for the 09 car yesterday, so now comes the long wait until August/delivery (June build date)

masaston is infamous around these parts
had mine done 3 weeks after delivery . i got a small rock chip 2 days before the install but with the touch up you can not see , it is a must

$#%^& - just got another scratch (a long one - my fault) on my stone guard. I am very happy I got this stuff - paint was totally protected ... again!
