Sounds to me like they just pulled fuse 22. That's pretty much how mine sounds when I "uncork" it.

 

Sounds like it's running without mufflers is all...

I am 99% sure that is Quicksilver Racing exhaust. I drove it on a demo car when I was contemplating the purchase for my Vantage. Too loud, imo. The Quicksilver Sport is a nice set-up, slightly throatier than stock without the muting in the midrange that the corking provides.

That is definitely not just "uncorked." From the sounds of that video when he was backing up in sub 2000 rpm, it is def more than decorked. All uncorking does is it leaves the valves open at all ranges. the valves close between 1500 and 4000 rpm to provide a more quiet drive in suburbia. The start-up and initial revs to 1500 rpm do not differ whether the exhaust is corked or decorked.

I think the guy is a complete idiot to be punching it down a street with dozens of people walking and on bicycles...just my 2 cents!
