2009 V8V: Updated with New Specs
According to TG.com the new specs have been released:
420bhp (up from 380bhp)
4.7L (up from 4.3L)
Suspension: Stiffer springs and Bilstein dampers

Glad to hear this. I've never driven a Vantage, but everybody I've talked to about them said that the one thing they needed was more power.

Obviously, I grew up in a different time...
To folks my age, and older, Aston Martin have always been, "a Gentleman's car." Sort of the sporting man's Rolls Royce or Bentley.
Obviously, AM has a magnificent racing heritage, but their road cars have never been race cars for the street... like Ferrari and a few others.
Even under the guidance of Prodrive, I don't think they're focusing on numbers and graphs to impress those who judge by statistics alone.
If someone wants to go fast, they'll buy a ZR1. If they want to go fast, and make a "statement", they'll buy the Ferrari in the moment.
