YES THEY ARE BRUSHED TITANIUM CENTERS>>> HARVESTED FROM THE DEEPEST MINES IN AFRICA then transported to a secret location where the messenger is killed and the centers are machined into beautiful 360 forged wheels

those 360 forged wheels fit the car very well. nicely done. i haven't seen a set of wheels executed well on an aston until now.

It's fine if you don't like aftermarket wheels on your Aston or whatever you drive. I have no problem with that. I do have a problem with people who hate modding making those who do seem like they have a problem. It's classless to put down someone else just because they feel differently than you do.

As for me, I'll change the wheels on any and every car I'll ever have. If I had an exotic, it gets wheels as quickly as I can get them. Number one, I do it to make the car different from every one else who has one. Usually, we socialize with others who have similar toys. I wouldn't want some other Aston to look like mine. Number 2, custom wheels make the car look better. I have other reasons but who cares.
It's a personal thing, no one should have an issue with it.
The Astons in this thread with custom wheels look way better than stock imo. We need more pics like these.

mind you, if you asked some of these dudes to post up a pic of themselves.... it all starts to make sense.

i personally think a lowered AM with bigger wheels from say HRE with dish looks insanely good and that anything stock (suspension, wheels) looks rather... pedestrian (a term i use quite frequently about 95% of the cars out there on the road no matter the price).

i think that DB9 with the mansory kit is just about the best looking coupe i've ever seen anywhere.

all of this stuff is so personal... but don't take it personally if someone thinks this Vanquish S looks... cheesy. i'll ride this fuqer all day

i don't see any hating on modding cars in this thread. i am confused on your perspective that anyone is thinking that modding a car is bad. we are just discussing why the aston crowd does not do it relative to the rest of the exotic car community. i see a couple of posts that don't like certain looks, but you cannot infer they don't like to mod.

as for trying to be unique, that is one of the biggest reasons for purchasing an exotic vehicle. the vehicle itself is unique and may not need a set of wheels to reinforce its "uniqueness". as for the uniqueness of my car, there is only one other db9 like mine in the entire pacific northwest and he is in oregon and i am in washington, but his is green. i think thats pretty unique even without wheels

as for custom wheels looking better, it depends on the wheel. its completely subjective as well so its not even worth arguing what looks better and what doesn't.

the interesting part about this topic is that on every single vehicle i have ever owned i have put custom wheels on it very shortly after purchasing it. the db9 is the only car that has remained stock and i really enjoy it that way. maybe i am getting old.

I think the AMV8 looks great with the 19" stock wheels. Leave it as is!
