Patrick,Had a couple of thoughts/questions. What is a reasonable time frame for a proven kit? Does your plan include an application for sportshift cars and since you needing to work on the programming, will you address the shift timimg? Also, is you percentage gain based on throriginal HP of the car or will there be greater gains if we elect for the factory power kit and quicksilver exhaust while we're waiting for the SC? Do you have a price target ind mind? If iy's the same as the Audi product I think you will do well. There are alot of 4.3's out there and I know a number of people who are buying left overs and low mileage used that have saved alot, enough to add an SC. Keep the dealers in mind. It's peace of mind and no one likes transporting their car back and forth.

As for the time frame, We have all ready done a great amount of research and if all goes as planed we are going to be buying one shortly to be able to tear into it and get things measured up. We will be launching a new web page in the start of the new year where I will make sure to post updates and pictures.

Transmission's..... I haven't seen us leave a car behind yet. there would be no reason why we would exclude a car because its a manual or auto.

Our power gains are based on what we have seen first hand in the past builds and Yes you will almost always see gains above and beyond if you upgrade other parts of the system, "more air in more air out"

You have to take a lot of things in to thought when you come up with a final price, research, development, prototyping, fitment, cost of parts, target sales, that's just to name a very small amount that goes into it. we were starting at a good "guess" and would like to bring it to you at or below the 10k mark.

I also should add that it is not uncomin for us to give deep, deep discounts to customers that allow us the use of there cars for the initial design process. If that sounds up your ally please get in touch with us.
thanks every one, Patrick

That would make it happen as fast as possible. We have to complete a few more projects before we buy an AMV8. If someone is willing to supply a car, its a win, win. We would make that person the deal of a lifetime.

Below was captured from another thread

Im pretty sure you will see a SC system from PES. Right now we have the Audi 4.2 kit in production and the new M3 kit in the initial stages of development. I believe that we can retail a kit for the AMV8 for around $10K complete. Right now the main issue is getting a car. We already have alot of hardware that we own. When one or two of our current development cars is sold that will make room for the AM. We are trying to speed up the process by working on a cooperative effort between PES and a local dealer or an AM owner. We work very well well with either.

A bit premature to say for sure, but our goal is $10K or less for a roots type system with cast manifold, air to liquid core in manifold, plus aveything else needed including correct tune on factory ECU without the use of piggybacks.

Sound good?

If the kit is 9,000 Then you add labor probably $4000-5000 for anyone willing to work on a car like that . Then you can expect to pay $30,000 to the dealer since tehy will mark it up .
Be realistic , if a kit for aporsche is going for $11000 + , you can bet the kit for an aston will be more.
Just like the cost for a twin turbo gallardo , I beleive it is $50,000 w/ parts , labor and shipping .
If you can do a Porsche kit for a more reasonable price with a factory look . I am sure it would sell .Especially as we see more new cars w/ high Hp ,and the prices of highline cars dropping , and more 997 coming off factory warranty it is pefect.

Jiaim,
Manifold on top, SC under, intercooler in between.

PorscheAudio,
Kit for $10K. Install around $2500 MAX! So you have a complete kit installed at $12,500.

You cant compare this to the Lambo kits. They require a huge amount of install time and all the parts are one-off fabricated parts. We are talking about a full production CAD designed system like our 4.2 kit.

It can and will be done. We are going the same route for P cars soon.
