Am super charger???

Hi everyone,

For anyone who is not familiar with the team here at PES just ask any one who has a Porsche, Audi or VW that has looked for a serious power upgrade. We have been engineering, designing, tuning and producing supercharger kits for Audi and VWfor many years, as well as in house tuning for most all European cars out on the market (a partial list is available on our web page). We belive in the old saying "Give the people what they want" So I would like to open this thread as a request to all of you, loyal AM owners. what do you want to see ? would you like a OEM looking supercharger kit for your cars?

Below is a link to our web pages and our you tube page. check out a small portion of what we've done.

Of course we would like to see an OEM styled SC kit.
However, some things to think about:

-Programming should be seemless, no engine lights, power gaps etc.

-Partnering with dealerships would be a great idea. Keeping the warranty intact would take a load off our minds. Many Porsche dealerships will
allow mods as well as install them. It would be great to have this situation with AM dealers.

-The price has to be reasonable. This is a hard time to justify expensive add-ons to expensive cars that decline in value worse that the stock market.

-Stand behind your work. We are a tight group. Word gets around fast. It's short-sighted to dissapoint or screw over such an avid group of car fans with the ability to keep paying you to mod their cars. Keep in mind must of us have a couple of carsand will get more in the future. Modding is a kind of disease that never gets cured.

Yes, definitely. The car is so great but needs more power. If it was priced in line with your other supercharger kits it would be very popular. Currently the only real options are a SC kit for $25K or NA mods which yield minimal gains yet are pricey. An SC kit in the price range you have for the Audis yet looks like a factory kit would be a no-brainer for me. Ideally it would be available directly from Aston Martin dealerships.

I like how you pointed out

With us that goes without saying. If you look at our kits not knowing that the supercharger is an add on you would assume that it was a factory option, in my humble opinion.

AM V8 SC system

Patrick,
If you stir up enough interest, I'm gonna have to get one of these (twist my arm). But seriously, there are only so many cars we can purchase at a time to develop SC systems for. This is one of the top on my "personal" list. After all, this engine is very similar to the SC engines from Jaguar.

We are doing the 4.2L for Audi now. The new V8 M3 is on order and a definate, but what next?

Porsche 997/997S
Lambo Gallardo
Vantage V8

The Vantage seems a great candidate to me. We know for sure that the Porsche community is very much into aftermarket tuning. Aston owners???? If we build it, will they come?

How awesome would a 500HP Vantage be

Please chime in either way

Alot of us are previous Porsche owners who have modified. It's in our blood. For me i wanted something different and more soulful No doubt the Vantage hits the mark. 500+ HP would make the car perfect.

A supercharger would be the REASON for me to finally go and buy an Aston V8V. The poor horsepower is why I have to this day strayed from buying one.

I hate to repeat myself, but getting the dealers involved would present a double-whammy. We the Aston faithful get our 500Hp and the dealer gets a new sales angle. If your pricing is around 8K and we have the blessing of the dealers I think 50% of exhisting and new buyers would pony up. These cars don't change as quick as the Porsches, You'll get a great run in both the 4.3 and 4.7 Vantages.

Sounds really interesting. The Vantage could really use a nice power boost.

Having said that however, since I'm looking for an Aston in Singapore, this won't apply to me unless you are willing to provide technical drawings, safety certificates, emission test certificates etc to make it legal in Singapore, which I assume is not feasible.

Having it through the dealer would be a bonus of course, so warranty doesn't get affected.

+1.

10k or less and through the dealership is a done-deal for me.
