Answer is - Yes it is the "DBAR1 Vantage American Roadster" was a car made in 2003 for the American market based from the DB7 and designed/built by Zagato for AM. 100 were made (99 sold quickly, factory kept one) and all but one were left hand drive (not sure if that was the factory one or not). The idea was a car for the California market hance the cars were sold with no roof (one was at Pebble Beach in 2007 on display). Looks like, but can not totally tell that this picture is the "one" w/ right hand drive (Brit tag ?) and had an aftermarket roof designed/installed - probably in reference to Brit weather. So if I am correct on this RHD this picture is of a "one of a kind" AM

OK - that is what I get for reading the book backwards - Zagato also made 100 coupes, then they made 100 DBAR1's which were the convertable version w/o a roof which I just explained. So just as rare but this is a picture of the "DB7 Vantage Zagato" which is the official name of the coupe (fixed top) version.
