05 Vanquish S...Good Deal?

So my dad is currently shopping Astons and is was sold on picking up an 06 or newer DB9. He happened by the Maserati dealership and found this 05 Vanquish S...

http://www.maseratipasadena.com/cars...anquish-s.aspx

New to the Vanquish market and only have craigslist and ebaymotors to really get a gauge on how this model trades. Is this a good deal or should he shop around. I'd prefer him to get an 06 with the new interior update...are there any other changes worth noting in 2006, reliability etc he should be wary of.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I believe you can do better by near 10K. Aside from the interior upgrade in the '06 they are essentially the same cars.

That's a great deal if the car is clean. Aston Orlando had one with 2k miles for similar money.

Amazing car for that money. Try asking the folks at AMOC.org also. The vanquish community is very strong there.

Keep shopping, don't buy the first car you come across until you've looked at several. This car will still be there and isn't going anywhere anytime soon. The DB9 is well built and even for an automatic the paddles are nice but the shifting isn't stellar. Back seats on the DB9 are worthless, even for a 6 year old they have to cross their legs in the seat so if you are driving far be prepared for *****ing. If your Dad is older and the kids are gone don't expect long rides with the grandkids, you'll have the same problem.
