Where do you get your Aston Serviced?

I am thinking about the possibility of getting an AMV8. However, there are no Aston dealers in Kansas City. The closest is on the other side of the state in St. Louis.

As far as I can tell, we don't really have an independent shop with Aston expertise either.

So, who can I trust to work on these cars? Would you take it to a Jag dealer? Would you make a 500-mile round trip to the closest dealer? Would you forget about getting this car and move on to something else?

This is what I would do. Unless you drive it over 10,000 miles a year, its only a once a yr trip. Do it during a nice time of year, and get a loaner while they work on it...sounds like a nice day to me.

Yes, that wouldn't be bad assuming I just need routine maintenance. But I'm also worried about failures where the car won't start or is otherwise not drivable.

It is about 350+ miles for me and I do just as Mike says. Problem is that I seem to get up there 2-3 times per year for little things. My dealer is good about setting me up with a loaner and getting my car back to me the same day.
