AMV8 ,I have many doubts
Hi, I'm looking for ASTON MARTIN V8 VANTAGE, I wanted to ask about, consuming oil? have to fill the oil often? that gasoline is the best 95 or 98 octane? fits well with the 95 octane? to be very low, it is difficult to move with it in places that many speed bumps in the road, in garages (parking) is difficult to enter?
forgives so many questions, but I have many doubts
thanks in advance, from spain ..

O.K. I'll bite. I have about 4,000 miles on my '07 and oil consumption has not been an issue at all. No smoke on start-up and when I drive it hard it does not seem to have that burnt oil smell like some of my other cars. I use 92 or 93 octane gas as that is all we have here in Chicago. The car runs and drives great. No complaints or issues whatsoever. I would purchase another in a heartbeat and I have had some pretty cool cars.
The street here in Chicago suck with potholes and speedbumps everywhere. Just drive slowly over them and you will not bottom out. I had many more issues with Corvettes and Porsche's. Those 2 cars ate front spoilers. Not the AM V8V. Parking is a breeze as it is a tiny car, not much bigger than a 911. The AM is a blast for everyday driving as well as spirited weekend driving.
Good luck! Hope this answers some of your questions.

Hey there,
Consider yourself lucky in Europe as in Montana the best gas is 91 Octane. The car doesn't mind and flies on the road just fine. I don't think the Astons consume oil at all... not sure where you got the idea or why you have doubts about the car.

Thanks for your answers, I do some day the legendary route from Chicago to Los Angeles route 66, in Aston Martin AMV8.
but this is lacking, and if not in AMV8 in harley davidson.
Here in Spain there are 95 octane and 98 octane.
Current gasoline prices
95 octane .....0.85 €. litre
98 octane .....0.93 €. litre
