new Clutch?

Why new clutch after only 13K miles was it abused? or is that normal for this type of car. I am looking at one in Fl, 06 8K $71500 I was also told that prior owner replaced clutch recently @ 7500 seems very low miles. You have any other problems with car.

I drive it everyday , A tire will run you about 320$ (ran over a screw) , I plan to drive the car and sell it going into the fall.

Fixed the clutch , had an issue with the "alarm system need service" , popped up on the dash, warranty item , but I flipped the car before I took it in . Check out e bay today, a dealer near me in WC PA just listed a 2007 for under $70k, that car will not last . Not sure of the service records . Not my color choice , but for the money that is awesome.

Wholesale bid side on a 2006 , out of warranty is low 60's. A 70 bid will allow you to find a 2007 , 15k type miles with some warranty left. As a heads up, M6 are all over the place. The vantage puts you in a league of your own, you just dont see them, At gas stations people come up to take pictures, its insane... driving down the highway I have had people pull out video cameras. just no comparison ..buy the vantage ,just be patioent for the right car. Check ebay , 2007 in green, he owns it at 66,000.in WC pa. and he bought it at Manheim onthe 24th , the same day a black 11k mile car traded at $69,000 wholesale ...50% o new , under warranty..Hmnn....Marqe,on line paid i think 72.5 for a 2007 dealer demo..nice take there also.

Do you look at alot of auction cars? I only wonder because I have been tracking Vantage sales on Manheim for about 9 months, I have all the sales numbers and condition reports for almost everyone from auction. The condition reports very rarely rate higher than a 3.0 on cars going through auction, and most cars are not complete with books, nav disc, keys. Are the folks righting the condition reports really picky or is a 3 a clean car and a 5 just perfect.

By the way not trying to po-po on the car listed on Ebay but the condition report from the original auction sale on 6/2 listed it as a 2(below Average), with prior paint and body work to the front end, hood, driver door and quarter, passenger door, fender and quarter. I do not know the story on that car other than the condition report, it states all were damage from a prev. repair, and the frame was not checked. Sounds like this car was hit and just about every body panel was repaired or replaced. Of course CarFax is clean, so no help there.

I did not personally see this one , thought maybe it was the color that held the price down . My partner was actually on the black 07 after it no saled, the owner told him he had sold it at 71..but the 69 prints. I bought a black one at 67 back in April ,,13k miles ,, was mint. I would not buy unless I had someone there or assuarances. I do think the cleaner auction astons trade off the block either prior to running or later. maybe wrong.I will ask about the green one , it is by no means my car . thanks for the heads up as I was going to look at it myself.

Condition is a big factor in the price. I searched Manhiem also for months and noticed that same thing.

I bought a black one , just like yours , with 13k miles for 67,500, -sold it for $78 ish, timing, luck , and condition are of course all important . You have to be around when someone needs the bid to get a great deal . at the end of the day 5k is not a ton of $to stop one from driving your dream car. At these levels of depreciation , the 2006 -2007 may have found a bottom in here , that is a market bottom by the way . I always crack up when I see this picture.

Didn't you have to drop 5-6k on that one for a new clutch?
