Stalling in operation MAY be cured
Got my '09 Vantage back yesterday after over a week in the AM shop. The previous stalling during street operation may be cured. The AM regional rep spent quit a bit of time with it. Apparently, they tried several new ECU code updates and had the computer relearn driving patterns. The service mgr said they may have loaded a program used in the mid-east, due to the higher heat there. They believe it may have been heat/engine load related with the a/c on.
Seems hokey to me, but I'll accept whatever fixes the problem.
The drive home and over the weekend did not produce any further stalling, but then again, I often went days without the problem earlier and then, WHAM, a stall right in the middle of a deceleration on the road!
I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Nice thanks for posting a response and if you can let us know if it does stall again. I'm gonna wait a week before I take mine in . Maybe you could give us your Techs name and dealership phone number. So I can have my guys call to verify the right re flash . I live in Vegas and its really hot here and that's when it happens.

Service dealer is Star Motorcars, in Houston, TX. Service Mgr is "Les". Real nice guy and very helpful. I don't know who the AM zone Rep was. I don't have the phone number handy from here. Check them on the Net. (Star Motors on Old Katy Hwy, Houston)

My dealer is currently looking at the "engine cutout" issue and asked me for VIN's of other V8 Vantage owners that have the same problem to find out, if certain ranges of cars are affected.
So please anyone with the typical cutout problem (not the engine dying completely), please send me a PM me with your VIN.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
