Hey everybody

I am considering buying an 06 Aston Martin Vantage - It is an automatic car. I am a little confused because I do not know how to price it correctly due to the fact that I CANNOT FIND an 06 in Automatic - Is it possible that this car is an 07? Or a very late model 06 that got the Sportshift transmission?

As far as I know the Sportshift was not introduced until the 07 model and refitting it onto an 06 would have been a major job. You might want to use the VIN to look up exactly what this car was when it came from the factory. A dealer should be able to do that for you.

 

Thanks, will call our local Aston Martin dealership to see if they can run the VIN and find out whats going on with this car - It seems manual to me, but they are insisting it is Automatic - Dont want to buy a car sight unseen and it comes back manual. Thanks!
