"Exit to Cancel" when hitting radio presets...

"Exit to Cancel" when hitting radio presets...
does anybody know what exactly I am canceling? I have looked in the manual and there is no mention. This only happens when changing radio presets, and when I do cancel the volume gets louder. I tried changing the dolby settings, and turning it off and the same message still appears.
