Can't locate ECU in my 06 V8V... help please...

So I am trying to pull out the ECU to send to RSC and I have not been able to locate it. Per RSC I removed the passenger side front wheel then the wheel liner screws. I wasn't able to remove the liner much, it is hard plastic and didn't want to snap anything by pulling too hard.

I couldn't find it though. I looked in the manual and I noticed that the fuse box is opposite in my vehicle than what the manual states. My fusebox is in the passenger side, the manual states driver side. Can someone confirm with me the location of their fusebox and more important the ECU.

also looking into the wheel arch is the ECU towards the front from the shock or towards the passenger cabin. thanks much.

US spec, you were close, remove right front wheel and wheel liner, yes it is there, not in the cabin of the car. Upper left inside wheel well. I have seen it ... and had it removed.

Sorry I can't help but I am contemplating doing the RSC ECU upgrade in the spring. Can you please let us know your impressions and can I get a copy of the document too? Good luck.

Thanks,
Adam

man I didn't see it, did you remove the liner completely? I wasn't able too, per service manual there are 23 screws to the liner, lol, I had 9 removed.

anybody with info as to which and how many liner screws should I remove to get at the ECU? I did the most visible 9 and it didn't budge much.

ECU is circled. You need to pull on the inner fender after unscrewing.

you're talking about the chip that controls the engine or the fancy AM marketing term for the new glass key?

Cool. Thanks. I see the ECU in the original picture to the upper left.

Glad you pointed this out!
