I am picking up my new Vantage on wedenesday. My question is will the DBS wheels fit?
I saw a set of brand new DBS wheels for sale on ebay. I love the way they look and i think they would look very nice on the car. I did a search but could not find any related posts. I called the dealer but they did not know either.

DBS wheels on a V8 Vantage will they fit?

Yes they will fit and have been fitted with out any reported problems, under normal driving there should fine but as these wheels are wider than the originals under aggressive driving or for being used on a track day etc, i would not consider them safe as they could foul, this in itself is potentially very dangerous, With this in mind I personally would not recommend fitting them.

 

Contrary to the seller's claim, I don't believe they fit a DB9 because of the combination of extra width and the difference in offset. You need to ask the seller the width of the fronts and rears and the offsets for each, then we should be able to quickly determine if they'll fit the Vantage.

 

That does not sound good. I am going to pass on them then. I don't want to have any issues.

 

So, here's the correct information about DBS wheels. You decide if they'll fit your V8 or DB9...

Front wheel: Same width as V8/DB9, but moved outward by 8.3 mm

Rear wheel: 1.5 inches wider AND offset decreased by 8.5 mm, resulting in a net outward movement of the wheel face by 27.5 mm

 

I would like to see how they looked on a vantage.

i'm not familiar with the Vantage, but the rear sounds like its gonna rub...
