Has anyone changed their subwoofer for a better one they are not that good...

 

You seem to be so unhappy with quite a few things in the car you got...

Based on what I've heard, as compared to other people's stock units, these woofers are actually quite good. I only use it on the highway when I'm cruising, other time I prefer to hear the engine.

 

I have the premium audio in my car and it sounds amazing. It compares very well to other very expensive aftermarket units I have had installed in my other cars. In fact, my buddy who is really into the car stereo thing (he competes with his cars) thinks that the premium audio sounds fantastic and said I should not change a thing! Everyone who has been in my car cannot believe that my setup is stock. BTW, I much prefer to listen to my exhaust not anyway.

Maybe you simply don't have your setting correct???? There are some deep menues within the system. Refer to your manual.

Do you guys use the 3 way or the dolby pro logic setting?

 

I myself pefer 3 ways...

 

I think I have it set to Dolby Pro logic II. I will verify once the winter freeze lifts and I can actually see the ground! We are currently buried under 10" of snow.

 

As far as a stock system I have not heard better than my V8V ... have ripped the Bose crap out of my last 3 P-cars ... and they called that premium ... can not believe Bose put their name on that system. Morel makes some great speakers ... have them as part of new system in my wifes P-car. The AM premium system is very close ... and not near the price!
