Clock on '09 AMV8

Before checking with my service advisor at Aston Martin, can someone please check this out for me? At night with the lights on, I noticed that the hour hand on the clock lights up but the minute hand does not. Can someone with an '09 and up check to see if their's is like this as well? I know the clocks on the '07 is different. Thanks in advance.

Just checked. The minute hand is lit, but it doesn't show up as bright. If you look close, the hands aren't actually lit, they are clear with sections designed to refract the light that's passing through them. The minute hand only refracts the light at the top of the long end while the hour hand does it at both ends, and is shorter, so it looks a lot brighter.

Unless the minute hand is dirty, it is as it is.

Thanks for checking. I guess the minute hand is thinner so not much light reflects from it.

TorontoDB9 is an unknown quantity at this point
I see the same thing on my '09 DB9. I thought there was something wrong with the lighting. At night I can barely read the time..... Guess new glasses are in order.
