DB9 and V8 Vantage Updates - 2013 and 2014

Autocar has some updates on the next models for both of these cars. I guess that means another 2-3 years until we see new models come out. Longer than I would have expected by a year, but since AM produces so few cars it makes sense that they stretch their models as far as they can.

I think they are still doing minor facelift for 2011, right?

The facelift version includes a new front bumper with revised intakes, a new side sill design, new wheels, new wing mirrors, and redesigned taillights. The new DB9 will also get new exterior colors and a few new wheel options.

Yes, I've seen those reports as well. However, if this report is true is seems like they wouldn't want to make such 'radical' design changes at this point in the cars life. Maybe they'll be special limited run editions?

Minor facelift for 2011

If the “new model” is due 2013/14, I can see the minor facelift for 2011 to bring elements from DBS and the V12V to the current Db9 and V8V. I guess we will find out later in October during the Paris Auto show. Or maybe better spy images before that.

I guess a revision for 2011 doesn't count?

Anyway, updated DB9 via AM's website:

Looks like the sport pack has been dropped in favor of new active suspension.

I'd say those V8V spy shots that were floating around were for the newly announced N420. Appears to be roughly a 13% price increase to go with the upgrades.

New Special Edition, motorsport-inspired V8 Vantage
Standard equipment includes Sports Pack suspension and new sports exhaust system
27kg weight saving over standard car
New distinctive Aston Martin 'Race Collection' paint schemes available as an option
