i am new to this site just bought 08 vantage and the cable is missing for the ipod connection, does anybody know where i can get replacement cable that will work besides going to factory to get it can i go to local store to buy or is it a priority thing thanks for any help that you might have

 

Sorry I have an '07 - I have stopped by AM of NE a few times on trips ... they seem to be reasonable folks on parts and advice ... might want to give them a call ....

 

The AM 08 Ipod connector does not work with any of the new Ipods (I think any model since 2009). You will need an upgrade connector for new Ipods...I think it cost $500-800. Fortunately, I have an old Ipod (3 years old) which works on my AM 08. AM is very back ward when it comes to technology stuff...eg ipod stuff and gps etc although upgraded stereo 700W is pretty awesome.

 

there is a small adapter that converts the old iPod connectors to the new and iPhone, its like $30. Go for that.
