Battery charger

Hello all,

I was considering buying the Save A Battery charger that Moe is selling https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-ever-buy.html.

My question is can I plug this unit with the cigarette adapter via the trunk receptacle (don't know if it's a different configuration) or should I use the power receptacles in the car?

Where's the one that came with your car?

If it was pinched, then buy a CTEK unit (US model 800 is the generic equivalent of the AM unit). Or you could spend a little more and buy the next model up. They come with the proper connector for the AM.

After reading about the weakness of the AM batteries, I like the idea of being able to charge/deep cycle the battery. With my Porsche, the CTEK wasn't strong enough to do this.
