RSC mods!!!
Well I got my exhaust installed and all I can say is WOW!!! It sounds so good, I wish I could drive today but it's raining buckets outside.
The install didn't go as smooth as I would have liked because one of the exhaust pipes got a bit bent in shipping, the shop that installed my exhaust took there time to fix the problem the best they could and the results where good.
Also I had a small issue with the 200 cell cats, one of the O2 sensors are in a different spot then on the stock cats so the heat shield had to be modified to fit. I'm not sure if the stock cat O2 senors changed location for 2009 from previous years, maybe Stuart can tell us.
RSC was available the whole time to help answer questions my shop had and they went out of there way to make sure I was a happy customer! I do have to say that RSC has great customer service
Now the exhaust sound. I can't compare it to any other aftermarket Vantage exhaust because I haven't heard any in really life only online. I can say that it is much louder then stock and the sound below 4,000rpm is just as loud but it is not over the top loud. If you get on the gas the car really comes alive but you can still drive normal and have a quiet ride. I think this combo of the touring exhaust and 200 cell cats will be a favorite for most people. I will get sound clips up as soon as I can.
There is definitely more power confirmed by my butt and at high rpm I have noticed the traction control light come on a few times. It never did this before lol

Just listening to that thing shift though.... you gotta send me your TCU man!!! I'm heading up to the Okanagan this week (brother is harvesting crushing his grapes.) More than welcome to stop round if you want to check it out.
Stuart, I would like to meet up with you but I'm driving the Vantage down to Phoenix this Thursday and will be gone for a week. Should be a good road trip listen to the new exhaust the whole way!
I miss my car. That video was awesome. Congrats. RSC did a great job with these mods. Your car sounds great, have you had it dynoed? It would be great to see what a 4.7 could yield with some simple mods.
Jason you don't need to worry, we're working with a customer in Spain right now on an upgrade package for the V12V. You can make me some videos soon too!
Great news Stuart. I can't wait to hear about this project. Please keep me informed. I can only imagine what you guys can do with a V12. I already have the tunnel picked out for the video.
This is my first post. Been a reader only for about a year.
If I can make a version for you which is like this, would I be able to get a committment from both of you guys? I might have to bump the price by $200 or so to cover the additional mold and production costs.
I had a question, is the paintable version fiberglass? The reason I ask is I'm most likey going to have it painted flat black anyway. So to keep costs down for me the panitable version is around $300 cheaper. Don't get me wrong, I like the look of carbon fiber, it's just I don't have any other pieces of carbon fiber on the car, so the stock black look works for me. Who knows, if it is carbon maybe that will be the first step for me to start replacing other pieces on the car.
