RSC mods!!!
RSC mods!!!
I ordered some mods from Stuart at RSC and they both have arrived!
First I got a Carbon Fiber front splitter. One thing I did notice about this piece is that the front edge is black and the rest is CF...you can see this in the last picture. I have sent the splitter and my Vantage to get 3M'd today. Here are some pictures of the splitter which should look really good against the white paint.

Second is RSC touring exhaust system with 200 cell cats. I put the exhaust on a scale and it was 31 pounds...It looks very nice! The 200 cell cats are 5 pounds each. I will be getting the exhaust installed on Friday so I should have some sound impressions this weekend. Here are some pictures.

Sweet Mods! Thinking about gettting these mods myself. Can't wait to hear your opinions once you get the exhaust and cats installed?
Who is doing the work for you? I live in Vancouver myself.

I installed the splitter myself and a local car shop in Kelowna is installing the exhaust. Any car shop can handle these mods. Good to see another BC Vantage onwner on this forum!!!
I love the splitter! My question is how much lower is that piece vs the stock piece? Do you have to be extra careful now going over inclines?
My turbo was lowered and I had to replace the front lip every year, because it would scrape all the time.

The new splitter is not any lower then the stock one but it does stick out about 3" further so the approach angle will be worse when going over bumps or into driveways. I will have to be more careful now but I am not worried.
I'm back in Vancouver from Miami Friday night, drop me a line next week, I'll get some brochures over to you.
The front splitter looks great, especially against the white. Stuart, is there any way to get this splitter with a decreasing radius at the ends where it meets the front wheelwell so it does not stick out sideways but blends into the body? (see CRUDE MS paint chop).
It certainly is possible. However it would involve the creation of an entirely new mold - usually the first mold isn't perfect so there would be some refinement required as well.
